The aircraft market is worldwide. Aircraft are bought and sold all over the world, and in order to give your client the best service and value possible, you have to consider all aircraft, not just those that are based in the USA.

RAS has been exporting and importing aircraft all over the world for years. Every country has slightly different requirements for importing or exporting. Although we look at the world market when locating an aircraft for a client, we also have to consider the cost involved to import or export that aircraft to determine the "Value Upon Delivery". Those costs are based on maintenance requirements of that country, coupled with the Ferry Cost. RAS has a list of DAR's (Designated Airworthiness Representatives) we regularly work with to issue an Export or Import C of A (Certificate of Airworthiness) for the destination country, along with professional ferry companies that can give us an exact cost ot ferry the aircraft to its final destination. These things all have to to be determined ahead of time to determine if the aircraft we are recommending for our clients are truly the best Value Upon Delivery.
